The October 2017 round of the Family Income and Expenditure Survey (FIES) obtained an 86.53% response rate lower than the July 2017 round with 86.95% response rate. The increasing non-response rate was brought about by refusals oftenly encountered by the enumerators.
On the other hand, the January 2018 Family Income and Expenditure Survey (FIES) Pilot 2nd level training was supposedly conducted on December 11-15, 2017 but was later moved to December 18-22, 2017 as it runs counter to the 2018 Regional Planning Workshop and 2017 General Assembly. The participants were divided into two groups in the Conference Room with SA April Aglan Mifil N. Gocela as the trainer with 40 participants while in the EDP Room with trainer SSS Myrna Trinidad Cataluña with 20 participants. Among the 60 participants, five (5) were selected as team supervisors, namely: Melba Bajarias, Floramay Dindin, Flordilina Marikit, Armilene Mercado and Lolita Rosario. Enumeration starts on January 8, 2018 and ends on January 31, 2018. The January 2018 round is the last round for the pilot survey of FIES representing the highly urbanized cities.
