Corn grain snag the lion share of this quarters’ combined total household stocks at 61 per cent, Rice contracted to only 39 per cent of the total volume. This change in scenario was due to the huge increase in corn land harvest area of the province which coincides with the 1st cropping peak harvest of the province.

Palay area harvested of which most of the households derive the stocks reach only 2,963 hectares higher by 24 hectares harvested in the previous quarter this year. While corn area harvested reached slightly over 20 thousand hectares, the largest harvest over the entire year so far.
