As of 01 May 2020, the population of the municipality of Enrique Villanueva, including Filipinos in Philippine embassies, consulates and missions abroad is 6,790 persons based on the 2020 Census of Population and Housing (2020 CPH). The population for 2020 has increased by 686 persons from the population of 6,104 in 2015. It is also more than 818 persons compared with the population of 5,970 in the 2010 Census of Population and Housing. Municipal Fisheries Production in Siquijor down to 637.69 Metric Tons The municipal fisheries sector has a total volume of production of 637.69 metric tons during the first quarter of 2022. Production for the first quarter of 2022 was 27.77 percent lower than the first quarter of previous year’s production of 882.88 metric tons. All sectors posted a decline in production except Aquaculture which was 131.52 percent higher, or from 1.23 metrics tons in the first quarter of 2021 to 2.84 metrics tons in the same quarter of 2022.
