LIVESTOCK and POULTRY Situation Report 1st Semester 2020

The total inventory of Livestock and Poultry in the province of Siquijor increased by 8.35 percent as of July 1, 2020 compared to the inventory of the same period last year from 681,277 heads to 738,188 heads this year. This figure was attributed to the increase in the livestock and poultry population. The inventory of Livestock in Siquijor province posted an increase of 6.46 percent as of July 1, 2020 compared to the inventory in the same period last year from 94,882 heads to 101,015 heads while the increase in poultry population was attributed specifically to the increase in native chicken from 570,870 last second quarter of 2019 to 624,669 this year.
