PSA 7 enjoins all stakeholders to participate in the 32nd National Statistics Month Celebration

The Philippine Statistics Authority is enjoining all agencies of the government, Local Government Units, academic institutions, state universities and colleges, and the private sector at the national and subnational levels to actively participate and support the 32nd National Statistics Month (NSM) celebration this October 2021.

Pursuant to the Presidential Proclamation No. 647 signed by President Corazon C. Aquino on 29 September 1990, declaring the month of October of every year as the National Statistics Month. The NSM is annually observed nationwide. It aims to: (a) promote, enhance and instill awareness and appreciation on the importance and value of statistics to the different sectors of the society; and (b) elicit the cooperation and support of the general public in upgrading the quality and standards of statistics in the country.

NSM: REVVING UP @ 32

The National Statistics Month (NSM) has been traditionally observed nationwide by virtue of Presidential Proclamation No. 547, “Declaring the Month of October of Every Year as the National Statistics Month,” issued on September 20, 1990 by then President Corazon C. Aquino.

PSA Celebrates the 31st National Statistics Month

PSA 7 speaks on the PSA's Innovations at Cebu Technological University (CTU)

The Philippine Statistics Authority 7 (PSA 7) was invited by the College of Arts and Sciences, Department of Mathematics and Statistics of the Cebu Technological University (CTU), Main Campus as Guest Speaker during their 30th National Statistics Month (NSM) opening ceremony on 11 October 2019.

The activity was graced by Engr. Felixberto M. Sato, Jr., Senior Statistical Specialist of PSA 7 and was able to impart to the students about some innovations that were implemented by the office. The discussion delves on the NSM theme for 2019 “DATA INNOVATION: Key to a Better Nation”.
