PSA Bohol conducted the third quarter Labor Force Survey (LFS) in July 2019.  For this round, the rider survey is the Annual Poverty Indicators survey (APIS).

A five – day joint regional and provincial level training was held at Alta Garden and Resort in San Isidro, Baclayon, Bohol.  It was attended by focal persons and assistant focal persons from the provinces of Siquijor, Cebu, Negros Oriental, and Bohol. The hired SRs from Bohol were also among the attendees of the said training.  SrSS Myrna Trinidad T. Cataluña of RSSO 7 and SuSS Jocelyn S. Sarmiento of Bohol served as the trainers.

The LFS is a quarterly survey of households which gathers data on the demographic and socio-economic characteristics of the population while the APIS aims to collect data that will be used to generate non-income indicators as inputs to the development of Multi-dimensional Poverty Index (MPI).

In this APIS round, Computer Assisted Personal Interviewing (CAPI) mode of data collection is used.The enumeration officially started on July 8, 2019 until the end of the month with six (6) enumerators maximum of eighteen (18) mandays.  Uploading of data was done on staggered basis.
