The Regional Population Executive Board (RPEB) created under Section 13 of the Guidelines for the Restructuring of the Regional Population Committee which is to be spearheaded by the Commission on Population and Development (CPD) formerly the Population Commission (POPCOM) conducted its 2nd quarter meeting together with all partner agencies from the government and private sectors. The activity was at the Azia Suites and Residences located at 8 Rahmann St., Cebu City last 28 June 2019.

The meeting was officiated by Atty. Bruce N. Ragas, the CPD Region 7 Director which started around 10:30 AM with a prayer and the singing of the Philippine National Anthem. Then the acknowledgment of the members of the RPEB followed. Right after the acknowledgment the discussion on the different topics immediately followed. First was the discussion on the different Policies to Support the Implementation of the RPRH Law (RA 10354) and these were Executive Order No. 12 series of 2017, DILG Memorandum Circular 2015-145, DILG Memorandum Circular 2017-85, and DILG Memorandum Circular 2018-182. It was followed by the discussion of the CPD and Department of Agriculture’s Special Area for Agricultural Development and the presentation of the Initial Results of the Mapping for Family Planning Services in Region 7. Lastly, presentations of the different updates of the partner agencies of RPEB wherein each agency presented their respective projects and programs of which all if not most affects the programs on reproductive health.
