The 2022 National Demographic and Health Survey (NDHS) kicks off starting May to June 2022. The Philippine Statistics Authority Central Visayas enjoins support for the conduct of 2022 NDHS from 02 May to 22 June 2022, including Saturdays but excluding Sunday, holidays and national election. This survey is the 12th in a series of national demographic and health surveys conducted in the Philippines every five years since 1968. It is designed to provide information on fertility levels, family planning, maternal and child health, child survival, HIV/AIDS, reproductive health, domestic violence, and other related health indicators in the Philippines.
This survey will utilize the 2013 Master Sample. In Central Visayas, there are about 1,935 sample households for the region. Field offices in Central Visayas hired a total of 17 (Bohol-3, Cebu-8, Negros Oriental-3, & Siquijor-3) Field Interviewers during data collection using Computer Aided Personal Interview (CAPI) system.
With this, PSA Central Visayas enjoins the public to support the 2022 NDHS. Furthermore, PSA encourages the sample households to accommodate the Field Interviewers or Statistical Researchers and provide truthful, complete and accurate information to the field interviewers. Respondents are assured that individual data furnished shall be kept strictly confidential in adherence to Section 26 of RA 10625. Public health and safety standards for the containment of the COVID-19 is strictly observed during the survey operations.
