The economy of Bohol increased by 6.6 percent growth in 2023, a deceleration from 7.0 percent growth in 2022. The Gross Domestic             Product (GDP) of Bohol was estimated at PhP 182.41 billion. (Figure 1)

Among the Provinces and Highly Urbanized Cities (HUCs) of Central Visayas, Bohol had the third largest share. Bohol accounted for        13.2 percent of the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) estimated at PhP 1.38 trillion in 2023. Meanwhile, the province of Cebu had the largest share with 29.8 percent.
