The Central Visayas-Regional Statistics Committee (CV-RSC) convened for the first quarter meeting last 14 February 2020 at National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) 7 Conference Room, Sudlon, Lahug, Cebu City. The meeting was headed by the committee chairperson, Regional Director Efren B. Carreon of NEDA 7. It was attended by 32 RSC members from Regional Line Agencies, Provincial and Highly Urbanized City Planning Development Offices, State Universities and Colleges, and the Private Sector.

Statistics on 2019 Selected Prices, 2017-2019 Exports and Imports, and 2018-2019 Employment by Occupational Group were presented to the committee. Also, updates were made by the Technical Working Groups on Continuing Education, Economic Sector Statistics, Social Sector Statistics and Environment and Multi-Domain Sector Statistics.

Discussed also during the meeting were the 4^th RSC summit declaration (action plan), 2019 RSC member attendance and the venue for the next quarterly meetings.
