The Philippine Statistics Authority visits Radyo Bisdak 105.7 for the information dissemination of the 2024 POPCEN-CBMS. Statistical Specialist II Rizalyn Teodora G. Postrado and Information Officer I Rod Marsell B. Larot discussed the importance and significance of the 2024 POPCEN-CBMS and called all Siquijodnons to accommodate the 106 Field personnel who will come knocking on their doors and asked questions.

POPCEN-CBMS is a collaboration of two (2) gigantic statistical undertakings, the Census of Population (POPCEN) and the Community-based Monitoring System (CBMS). This undertaking aims to provide government executives, policymakers, and planners updated population and housing data in all barangays. Participation in the conduct of POPCEN in the 2024 POPCEN-CBMS is compulsory as stipulated in Paragraph 1 of Section 27 of RA 10625 which states that respondents of primary data collection activities such as censuses and sample surveys are obliged to give truthful and complete answers to statistical inquiries. On the other hand, participation in the conduct of CBMS in the 2024 POPCEN- CBMS is purely voluntary.

The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) asked respondents for a truthful and honest answer. PSA is covered by the Republic Act 10173 also known as the Data Privacy Act of 2012, therefore the right to privacy of every respondent remains inviolable.
