The Philippine Statistics Authority-Siquijor Provincial Office recently concluded the five-day Municipal Level Training on 2024 Census of Population (POPCEN) and Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS) or the 2024 POPCEN-CBMS at GAD Building, Siquijor, Siquijor on 01 – 05 July 2024.

Participants from the Municipality of Siquijor were engaged in workshops, training sessions and discussions aimed at enhancing their capacity in data collection, analysis, and utilization. Facilitated by PSA Personnel, the training emphasized the essence of accurate data in shaping policies and programs that directly benefit the province. In addition, the in sights gained from this training will enable us to better understand our community’s needs and allocate resources more effectively. It’s a crucial step towards ensuring sustainable development and improving the quality of life for everyone.

The training also underscored the integration of technological solutions aimed at optimizing data collection workflows. Participants engaged with high digital tools designed to streamline process and enhance data accessibility, ensuring timely and accurate census information.
