The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) launched the Birth Registration Assistance Project (BRAP) barely two (2) years ago and is continuously being implemented around the country, more and more Filipinos have benefited from this project. BRAP primarily aims to help the marginalized group in the community in securing birth registrations and that no one would be left behind.

The province of Siquijor is not an exemption. Siquijodnons continue to feel the government service being brought close to the public, right at their doorsteps. As far as house to house visits were already made to ensure unregistered Siquijodnons be registered and have his own identity through their birth certificates.
