The Municipality of Siquijor is currently celebrating its 52nd Araw ng Bayan, a milestone event recognizing its role as the provincial capital of Siquijor. As part of the historical observance, the municipality hosted the “Halad Serbisyo sa Katawhan sa Siquijor” on September 2-3, 2024, at the Siquijor Capital Square in Poblacion, Siquijor, Siquijor.
The Halad Serbisyo sa Katawhan sa Siquijor event was a key highlight of the Capital Day festivities, aimed at enhancing accessibility to government services for all residents. By bringing various government services closer to the community, the initiative sought to address the challenges faced by constituents who often have difficulty accessing these resources.
In a notable display of collaboration, PSA, Siquijor Provincial Statistics Office, along with other government agencies, actively participated in the Halad Serbisyo sa Katawhan sa Siquijor. Their involvement was crucial in providing a range of services such as National ID registration and assistance in Birth Registration demonstrating a unified effort to serve the needs of the local population.
