The Philippine Statistics Authority- Regional Statistical Services Office VII (PSA RSSO VII) announces the conduct of the Regional Data Dissemination Forum on the 2022 National Demographic and Health Survey (NDHS) on 13 July 2023 (Thursday) 9:00 AM to 12:00 NN at Alicia Hall, Golden Prince Hotel, Acacia St., Cebu City. This data dissemination forum aims to present the final results of the 2022 NDHS in Central Visayas.

The 2022 NDHS is the twelfth in a series of national demographic surveys conducted every five years since 1968. The primary objective of this survey is to provide up-to-date estimates of basic demographic and health indicators, particularly on marriage, fertility, childhood mortality, maternal and child health, knowledge and attitudes regarding HIV/AIDS, violence against women, the new questions on child discipline, and early childhood development, and other health issues. The information gathered in the NDHS series have been used to monitor and evaluate population, health, and nutrition programs and policies.

Highlights of the Regional Data Dissemination Forum will be tweeted live all throughout the duration of the forum through the Twitter account @PSA07govph, and will be livestreamed in the PSA-Central Visayas’ official Facebook page.
