Last 7 May 2024 marks the start of the Implementation of PhilSys updating service in Bohol, offering residents the opportunity to correct and update their personal information. The service is now available at the Fixed Registration Center at the 2nd Floor of Galleria Luisa Bldg., Gallares St., Poblacion II, Tagbilaran City, Bohol.

The updating service allows individuals to make corrections on the following details: 

•       Name (First Name, Middle Name, Last Name);

•       Sex;

•       Date of Birth;

•       Place of Birth;

•       Blood Type

•       Change of Entry from "Filipino" to "Resident Alien" or vice-versa;

•       Permanent/Present Address;

•       Marital Status;

•       Mobile Number;

•       Email Address

Individuals seeking to update their information will be required to present supporting documents as reference in encoding the entry/ies in the demographic information to be corrected. On the other hand, changes in mobile number, email address, and/or changing the marital status from "with entry" to "disclosed" will not be required to present any identification or supporting documents. Moreover, the updating service accepts all formats of the National ID, including the PhilID Card, ePhilID, and Digital ID.
