The Provincial Statistical Office of Bohol inaugurates its Civil Registration System (CRS) Serbilis Outlet in Tagbilaran City, Bohol on 2 May 2022 at 2F Uptown IT Hub, JLU Centre Bloc, Rajah Sikatuna Avenue, Tagbilaran City (near Island City Mall (ICM) across Dao Public Market).

This is the 47th CRS Outlet that will accommodate requests for issuance of civil registry documents in security paper. Most common civil registry documents issued by the said Outlet include birth, marriage and death certificates, and certificate of no marriage (CENOMAR).

The inauguration started with a holy mass officiated by Rev. Fr. Johnson Galaura, followed by a short program where a series of keynote addresses were delivered. Our beloved City Mayor, Honorable John Geesnell L. Yap graced the Go Live and Opening together with Asec. Leo B. Malagar, Deputy National Statistician of Civil Registration and Central Support Office, Marizza B. Grande, Officer-in-Charge (OIC) Assistant National Statistician of Civil Registration Service, and Engr. Ariel E. Florendo, Regional Director of RSSO VII.

Other guests who attended the said activity were the Chief Statistical Specialists of the three provinces in Central Visayas, Eden-Hallel Liston, Regional Operations Lead-Visayas of Unisys Managed Services Corporation and his team, Bohol City/Municipal Civil Registrars and Heads/Representatives of Provincial and National Government Agencies.

To officially kick-off the CRS operations, Mayor Baba Yap assisted by Asec. Leo B. Malagar, led the ribbon cutting and thereafter the blessing ceremony with Fr. Johnson.

Furthermore, Engr. Ariel E. Florendo, Regional Director of PSA VII pointed out that “Boholanos need not go to Cebu or Dumaguete City anymore to request a copy of their civil registration documents. We are now bringing the services closer to the people of Bohol.”

PSA Bohol will soon implement the online appointment system amid the ongoing pandemic. In view hereof, all clients are required to present vaccination cards prior to being admitted to the CRS Outlet when transacting civil registry documents.
