The Regional Inter-Agency Committee on Filipino Family (RIACFF) conducted its first quarter meeting on 23 March 2018 at Wellcome Hotel, Camputhaw Cebu City. The member agencies of the said committee were invited to attend the meeting. The Philippine Statistical Authority, Regional Statistical Services Office 7 is one of the member-agencies that were invited by the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD). Statistical Specialist II Joseph Jim D. Abadingo of PSA 7 attended the said meeting on behalf of the office.  

The meeting was presided by Protective Services Chief Rosemarie S. Salazar. Together with the representatives of the different member agencies, the group discussed the different projects and operations that benefits and affects the Filipino family. Stressed during the said meeting were the activities for the benefit of those who surrendered during the implementation of “Oplan Tokhang” under the Philippine National Police (PNP). Member-agencies were encouraged by the DSWD to prioritize these types of programs if it is part of the mandate of the agency.
