The Philippine Statistics Authority will start the PhilSys on Wheels in the province of Siquijor.

The PhilSys on Wheels is a mobile registration that aims to make the National ID registration process more accessible to Filipinos, especially those living in remote and hard-to-reach areas of the province. The government launched the program as part of its efforts to fully implement the Philippine Identification System (PhilSys), which aims to provide every Filipino with a reliable and verifiable identification card. This will be operated with trained personnel who will assist citizens in the registration process. 

The PhilSys on Wheels will start its operation on 14 October 2023 in some barangays in the Municipality of Siquijor and plans to visit more areas in the coming weeks and months to reach as many residents as possible. The launch of the PhilSys on wheels in Siquijor is expected to benefit thousands of residents who have yet to register their National ID.
