The Philippine Statistics Authority- Siquijor Provincial Office announces the conduct of the Provincial Data Dissemination Forum on the 2022 National Demographic and Health Survey (NDHS) on 10 August 2023 (Thursday) 8:30AM to 12:00NN at Fig Sunset View Resort, Maite, San Juan, Siquijor. This data dissemination forum aims to present the final results of the 2022 NDHS in Central Visayas. 

The 2022 NDHS is the twelfth in a series of national demographic surveys conducted every five years since 1968. The primary objective of this survey is to provide up-to-date estimates of basic demographic and health indicators, particularly on marriage, fertility, childhood mortality, maternal and child health, knowledge and attitudes regarding HIV/AIDS, violence against women, the new questions on child discipline, and early childhood development, and other health issues. The information gathered in the NDHS series have been used to monitor and evaluate population, health, and nutrition programs and policies.
