Maria, Siquijor - The Siquijor Provincial Statistics Committee (PSC) successfully conducted its Third Quarter Meeting on July 19, 2023, bringing together stakeholders from various government agencies, representative from the private sector and the academe to advance data-driven development initiatives within the province. The meeting was hosted by LGU Maria at their SB Session Room of the Maria Municipal Hall, Poblacion Sur, Maria, Siquijor.
The meeting showcased the commitment of the committee to promote evidence-based decision-making for sustainable growth and progress in Siquijor. The Third quarter PSC meeting featured robust discussions on a wide range of pertinent statistical matters and PSA major projects. LGU Maria, spearheaded by the incumbent Mayor Hon. Roselyn T. Asok, welcomed diverse members of the PSC body from various government agencies, private sector, and the academe.
Engr. Jason D. Manos, Officer-In-Charge of the Provincial Planning and Development Office (PPDO) and the Chairperson of the PSC expressed his gratitude to all attendees for their active participation and unwavering commitment to data-driven development. Likewise, the dynamic and ever active Honorable Mayor Roselyn T. Asok, highlighted the importance of the data produced and shared during the meeting as essential for effective planning and policy formulation.
The fourth quarter PSC meeting is slated to take place on October 18, 2023, where the committee will continue its mission to promote evidence-based decision-making, foster collaboration, and partnership among stakeholders, and propel the province towards a brighter future.
