The Philippine Statistics Authority, Siquijor Provincial Statistical Office joined the “Halad Serbisyo Alang sa mga Siquijodnon” held at the Siquijor Capital Square, Poblacion, Siquijor, Siquijor from 06 to 07 September 2022. In line with the 50^th year of the “Araw ng Bayan” of the Municipality of Siquijor, this collaborative activity brought several government agencies in one venue to provide various services to the public.

To answer the call for public service with the participation of other government agencies in the Province of Siquijor and those from the local media, one (1) registration kit was deployed to conduct Step 2 Registration to walk-in applicants. In this two-day activity, a total of 22 individuals had their demographic information validated and biometric information such as fingerprints, iris scans, and a front-facing photograph captured.

The registration personnel also led the information dissemination campaign through  distribution of flyers, answered  inquiries on PhilSys,  assisted clients on how to  track one’s  PhilID using the  PHLPost online  tracking website, and updated

our stakeholders on the use of PhilSys Check thru the website verify.philsys.gov.ph, an offline identity authentication tool that verifies the authenticity of the PSA-issued PhilID through its QR Code feature when transacting with public and private institutions.
