Calligraphy as defined is a visual art related to writing, it is a design in the execution of lettering using brush and other lettering instrument.  Through this, the theme for this year’s celebration will be emphasized and will be instilled in a person.  Thus, promoting and advance public awareness on the importance of Civil Registration amidst this pandemic.

The participants for this contest are the warm-bodied personnel of PSA Siquijor, the Statistical Researchers (SRs)/ contractuals of the different projects.  There were seven (7) SRs/ contractuals who joined and are the following:

The contestants were provided with the contest materials and supplies. It was scheduled on 2-5 February 2021 with contestants in different schedules observing the health protocols.  Judging was done virtually but has to submit the rating sheet on 26 February 2021.  The Judges are the following:

a.    MCR Nonito J. Manginsay – Board

b.    MCR Jay a. Tayros – Member

c.    Mr. Felicisimo B. Valios – Member

Outputs are presented/ posted in the office.

The following emerged to be the winners for this activity with corresponding cash prizes:

a.    Jayben Lord B. Duhaylungsod – First Prize (P 600.00)

b.    Frederick V. Aurino – Second Place (P 400.00)

c.    Michael Pasil – Third Place (P 300.00)

And the rest of the contestants received consolation prizes.

The activity was aimed at promoting the importance of Civil Registration by emphasizing this year’s theme.
