Philippine Statistics Authority, Siquijor Provincial Statistical Office attended and participated in the “Siquijor Kasalan Ng Bayan 2019”.  This was an annual activity of the Local Government Unit of Siquijor spearheaded by the Local Civil Registry Office.

Kasalan Ng Bayan was one of the lined activities in the week-long celebration of the 47th Celebration of “Araw Ng Bayan Ng Siquijor”, being the capital town in the province of Siquijor.

A total of twenty-five (25) couples from the Municipality of Siquijor exchanged marital vows in this significant event.  Wedding is the symbol of commitment and the foundation of the love between couples.  Building a warm home starts with choosing your partner for life, and is officiated in a ceremony.  A marriage rite is important, thus, binds two people in a lifetime commitment.

In behalf of PSA, Siquijor Provincial Statistical Office, Statistical Specialist II Joselito C. Maghanoy, delivered a speech during the event in the reception ceremony at the Siquijor Capital Square.  The undersigned together with Adm Aide VI Anthony L. Ontolan and JO Kermith O. Patagoc also attended.
