The Census of Philippine Business and Industry (CPBI) is one of the three national censuses being conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) per RA 10625 and a designated statistical activity as per EO No 352, series of 1996. A rider survey will be undertaken for this round, the Input and Output Survey of Philippine Business and Industry (IOSPBI).

The 2023 CPBI was introduced during the Provincial Statistics Committee (PSC) Meeting on 16 April 2024 held at Siquijor State College in Larena, Siquijor. This will somehow drum up support and cooperation from the members of the committee and as a way of support, a resolution was approved particularly for this undertaking. It was also agreed that a representative from PSA, Siquijor will sit in in one of the meetings of the Siquijor Chamber of Commerce, Inc. prior to the start of the operation for its proper dissemination to ensure active engagement of the sample establishments for the 2023 CPBI.
