In anticipation of the upcoming 2024 Census of Population (POPCEN) and Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS) Household Data Collection and Geotagging or the 2024 POPCEN-CBMS, Philippine Statistics Authority Siquijor Provincial Office conducted one-day training for all Team Supervisors in the Province at GAD Building, Siquijor, Siquijor on 06 July 2024 to further fortify their skills in preparation for overseeing data collection efforts which is crucial to the success of the census.

The training sessions, facilitated by PSA Personnel focused on preparing supervisors to oversee data collection process with precision and efficiency. Regional Director Engr. Ariel E. Florendo emphasizes the significance of the training, ensuring the understanding as supervisors, of the responsibility lies in ensuring accuracy of census data, which is pivotal for effective planning and resource allocation.

As the supervisor’s training concluded, participants affirmed their commitment to applying newfound knowledge and skills to facilitate meticulous census enumeration efforts in Siquijor. Their dedication underscores a collective effort to leverage robust data framework in advancing equitable and sustainable development goals across the province.
