June 18, 2024, DSWD held the AKAP payout at Dugukanan sa Kapitolyo in Pulangyuta, Siquijor, Siquijor. PhilSys was invited to join the event to ensure that all beneficiaries not registered with PhilSys will be registered during the event and in support to the 2024 POPCEN-CBMS the PhilSys team helps in the distribution of the IEC materials of the 2024 POPCEN-CBMS to AKAP beneficiaries and took this opportunity to inform the beneficiaries about the ongoing census where PSA field personnel visit their households and ask questions like the demographic characteristics of the household, economic characteristics, etc.

They were also informed that our field personnel are wearing PSA IDs and tablets which will be used during the interview. During the distribution of IEC materials, the PhilSys team assured the beneficiaries that their right to privacy would remain inviolable.
