The Philippine Statistics Authority is conducting regularly the Quarterly Survey of Philippine Business and Industry (QSPBI) and is one of the designated statistical activities. It provides quarterly data on employment, compensation, revenue or sales, and inventories for the various sectors of the economy.

The QSPBI is a nationwide survey covering about 6,000 sample establishments quarterly. Three (3) sample establishments are allocated to Siquijor province which are regarded as the major establishments.

It is one of the main sources of data in the compilation of the Quarterly National Accounts of the Philippines (QNAP).

The sample establishments are given three options to respond to the survey. They can choose from these options in sending the information for the data items in the survey questionnaire.

2. Electronic questionnaire
3. Printed copy of the questionnaire

PSA, Siquijor PSO headed by OIC Joselito C. Maghanoy is enjoining every sample establishment in the province to support and cooperate in this statistical undertaking to have an accurate and reliable data in response to the needs of our economy, looking forward for a better economy and an improved quality of life of all Filipinos, and the Siquijodnons, in particular.
