INFORMATION NOTE

Objective

The 2024 Regional Data Festival (RDafest) for Visayas Cluster will carry the theme “Harnessing the Power of Data and Statistics for a Future-ready Filipino and Filipina Youth”. 

This will coincide with the 35th National Statistics Month Celebration in October 2024. The Regional Data Festival will feature various presentations and open discussions, expositions, games and contests, as well as exhibit booths.

Venue

The event will be held at DepEd Ecotech Center, Sudlon, Lahug, Cebu City.

Festival Kits, Materials and Certificates

The participants will be provided with 2024 RDaFest Kits containing the ID with lace, Notebook, and 2024 RDaFest – Visayas Cluster Program. Copies of the final presentations will be uploaded on the RDaFest Visayas Cluster webpage (rsso07.psa.gov.ph/rdafest) by 31 October 2024.

Certificate of Attendance will be issued after the 2024 RDaFest while the Certificate of Participation will be issued electronically after the RDaFest upon submission of accomplished evaluation form.

Dress Code

Recommended dress code for the 2024 RDaFest – Visayas Cluster is “Business Attire.”

Registration

Attendance to this event is by invitation only. The invited participants may confirm their participation by accomplishing the reply slip sent through email (for schools) and the link provided to Regional Agencies, Local Government Units and Media.

Accommodation and Meals

Please note that accommodation will not be provided for confirmed attendees. However, participants may refer to the list of nearby hotels available on the 2024 RDaFest – Visayas Cluster webpage. Snacks and lunch will be provided during the event.

Travel and Related Expenses

Confirmed participants are responsible for covering their own travel and related expenses.
