RDaFest Games and Contest Mechanics
ON-THE-SPOT INFOGRAPHICS MAKING CONTEST
The On-the-Spot Infographics Contest challenges participants on the illustration of the data in a more visually appealing and concise but informative way. The participants will be given data or statistics produced by the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) which will be used to present data in communicating statistics quickly and understandable at a glance.

DATA STORYTELLING CONTEST
The Data Storytelling Contest is an on-the-spot contest on the preparation of articles using official statistics. The contest aims to test data literacy i.e., data interpretation and communication of statistics, among students.

STATISTIKTOK MAKING CONTEST
StatisTiktok Making Contest is a video-making contest which goal is to create short, creative and informative video related to theme “Harnessing the Power of Data and Statistics for Future-ready Filipino and Filipina Youth” of the Regional DataFestival (RDaFest) – VisayasCluster.
The videos may also include commentary ornarration to provide additional context and insights related to the abovementioned theme. The Tiktok video entry is intended to make statistics interesting and accessible to a wider audience.

VEST IN STAT
Vest in Stat is a game patterned from a TV show segment called “Vest in Spelling” from It’s Showtime! Using vests with attached letters on the front and back flap, the players will spell out their answers to various statistical questions before time runs out.

PSA SAYS
The PSA Says is patterned after the popular game show Family Feud, in which two (2) teams compete to guess the most popular responses to survey questions. The trivia questions for this game were based on the results of the censuses and surveys, and other statistics generated by the Philippine Statistics Authority. The game aims to test data awareness among students.
