More than twenty personnel of PSA – Bohol including COSW’s, JOW’s OJT’s rose from their slumber early dawn on September 21, 2019 to mingle the six (6) million volunteers across ninety (90) countries in observing and participating the 34th International Coastal Clean-up Day slated every 3rd Saturday of September of every year pursuant to Presidential Proclamation No. 470, Series of 2003.

At par with other volunteers across continents, the office’s social awareness and responsibilities towards the protection and prevention of environmental and ecological degradation, it has been designated to clean the measurable segment of Cabisi Beach, Taloto, Tagbilaran City. It never missed the year’s clean-up area for this is the office’s designated spot a couple of years since we cooperated and participated the said global movement. Straddling in wavelets and washes to shorelines and even broken bottles hazardously laying still amidst tides in different fluctuations, we raced against time to pick, collect and remove these trashes and debris in different substance, sizes, colors and makes for a cleaner, safer and healthier coastlines.

No less than PSO Jessamyn Anne C. Alcazaren led the pack of PSA volunteers eyeing to keep our oceans, beaches and waterways, in cadence of time and space, eager and willing to contribute for the preservation of heathy and safe environment. By leading the office responsibly, she kept reminding her workforce to be aware, raise consciousness and contributes to our environment and ecology overtime. This by way of contributing to act incessantly our involvement in various calls for safeguarding, protecting and preserving our Mother Nature.
