The Philippine Statistics Authority, Siquijor Provincial Statistical Office announces the start of the nationwide rollout of the printable Philippine Identification (PhilID) or electronic PhilID (ePhilID) on 03 October 2022 in the Province of Siquijor. The printable PhilID will have the same functionality and validity as the physical ID. It will allow registrants to enjoy the benefits of the PhilID as the PSA fast-tracks the printing and delivery of physical cards.
The printing of the digital version of the PhilIDs shall be made available at the Fixed Registration Center (FRC) located at the 1/F of Siquijor Business and Convention Center, Poblacion, Siquijor, Siquijor. The FRC will accommodate clients seven (7) days a week from 08:00 AM to 05:00 PM.
To avail of the printable PhilID, below are the eligibility criteria:
1. Must be registered to PhilSys;
2. Has kept a copy of their transaction slip or transaction reference number (TRN) found in the transaction slip issued during their Step 2 Registration;
3. With available printable PhilID upon checking the verification portal through https://trn-verifier.philsys.gov.ph; and
4. Must personally appear to the registration center to claim his/her own printable PhilID (Section 17 of the RA 11055 or Protection Against Unlawful Disclosure of Information/Records)
Every registered Siquijodnon is encouraged to prepare the copy of their transaction slip issued during their Step 2 Registration (biometric capture). The TRN will be used to confirm the availability of your printable PhilID upon checking through the verification portal. If found unavailable, we advise that one should visit the portal regularly to check the availability of their ePhilID. The PSA assures the public that the system is continuously updated to include newly generated ePhilIDs.
Given the demand for the printable version of the PhilID, the PhilSys Registration Team (PRT) will also conduct mobile issuances of the ePhilID to ensure that more Siquijodnons will have their printable PhilID and will also continue to conduct Step 2 Registration (biometric capture) to find the remaining unregistered individuals. In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, strict implementation of minimum health and safety protocols are firmly observed in the conduct of PhilSys operations.
All PhilSys personnel strictly adhere to health and safety protocols set by the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF) such as social distancing, administration of health survey forms, checking of applicants/personnel body temperature, wearing of personal protective equipment (PPE), disinfection of equipment, barriers, chairs, and common use supplies, among others.
