The Philippine Statistics Authority, Siquijor Provincial Statistical Office conducts a three (3) day mid-year performance review held at Coco Grove Beach Resort from July 12-14, 2023.
SuSS/OIC Joselito C. Maghanoy has served as the PSO – Siquijor’s OIC for the past six months. He thanked everyone for their support and devotion to their work over the time, saying that no one faltered under his direction. He expressed his hope for continued support.
The mid-year performance review is a process designed to assess the progress and performance during the semester. It is primarily aimed at determining whether the set objectives and targets for this period have been successfully achieved or not.
The chosen venue for the event was carefully selected to create an atmosphere of serenity and exclusivity, perfect for discussions and exchanging of ideas.
The three-day activity highlights the following: Review of the Targets against Actual Accomplishments for the 1st Sememster 2023 Work Program, Discussion of the Updated 2nd Semester 2023 Workload Analysis, Discussion of the Issues and Concerns of Budget Utilization, Best Practices/Innovations, Review, update and revision of QMS ORAP and RRAP, 1st Semester 2023 GAD Plan and Budget, Formulation of Public Continuity Service Plan (PSCP), Review and update status of budget utilization as per approved PPMP, APP CSE, APP Non- CSE, Re-echo Training on Administrative Order No. 1, series of 2021, Introduction to Basic Statistics and Team Building Activities.
With remarkable coordination and cooperation from everyone involved, the three-day activity has been a resounding success. Each member from each unit or division actively participated in the event, demonstrating his genuine interest and steadfast enthusiasm, from meticulous preparations for the venue to the seamless execution of the various reports and activities.
Lastly, the Philippine Statistics Authority, Siquijor Provincial Statistical Office recognized both regular employees and COSWs in honoring employees with perfect attendance and punctuality, the company sought to emphasize the importance of reliability and responsibility in the workplace.
On the last day of the three-day activity, the team organized a team-building activity that brought everyone a great deal of fun and enjoyment. The games tested the participant’s skills, abilities, and the sharpness of their minds.
The commitment and dedication of everyone can be credited for the success of this three-day activity. Overall, this event stands out for the strength of teamwork, coordination, and cooperation.
