The Philippine Statistics Authority-Bohol was invited by the Agricultural Training Institute Region 7 (ATI-7) to share some statistical insights, updates and relevant statistics particularly for the current agricultural situation in Central Visayas. The office sent one representative Mr. Federico I. Aparri, Registration Officer I, in behalf of the Provincial Statistics Officer, Chief Statistical Specialist (CSS) Ms. Jessamyn Anne C. Alcazaren. The conference started at 9:00 o’clock in the morning which was participated by different agencies of the government, namely, DEPED, DSWD, TESDA, OPA, OPV and Selected MAOs from different LGUs.

The Office of the Provincial Agriculture presented Agricultural Situationer for the Province of Bohol using data from PSA. It was followed by the presentation of statistical updates and latest agricultural statistics by the aforementioned PSA representative using the latest infographics releases. During the afternoon session, participants were grouped into four for a workshop on the needed trainings and extension concerns for the participating stakeholders. The outputs of the workshop were presented by one representative for each group. The stakeholders’ conference ended at about 4:00 o’clock in the afternoon. ◘
