The Philippine Statistics Authority Regional Statistical Services Office VII (PSA RSSO VII) is pleased to announce the successful completion of the 2024 target for the National ID System registration in Central Visayas. A total of 7,107,744 individuals were registered, representing 101 percent of the 7.04 million registration target in the region.

The number of registered individuals by province is as follows: Cebu (4,499,646), Negros Oriental (1,272,638), Bohol (1,237,213), and Siquijor (98,247).

PSA RSSO VII continues National ID registration in 2025, with expanded coverage for children below 1 year old. Walk-in registration remains accessible at designated registration centers throughout the region (philsys.gov.ph/registration-center). Mobile registration initiatives and collaborative programs with partner agencies and institutions also continue to ensure continued accessibility for all residents.

As of 31 December 2024, a total of 4,503,238 National ID cards have been delivered in Central Visayas. Registrants may track the delivery status of their cards via the PHLPost tracking website at http://tracking.phlpost.gov.ph/ using their 29-digit Transaction Reference Number (TRN) found in the transaction slip.

Individuals awaiting their National ID cards can obtain a printed copy of the National ID in Paper Form or ePhilID by visiting any registration center and present their transaction slips or a copy of their TRNs. As of 31 December 2024, a total of 2,490,329 ePhilIDs have been issued in the region.

Additionally, registrants may also generate their Digital National ID through the official website at https://national-id.gov.ph/. The Digital National ID may be saved to a mobile device via screenshot capture or file download.

Both the ePhilID and the Digital National ID have the same functionality and validity as the National ID card, and are valid forms of identification for transactions, subject to authentication. All registered individuals will still receive their National ID cards, even if an ePhilID or Digital National ID has been obtained.

For updates, inquiries and concerns about the National ID System, please contact PSA RSSO VII at telephone number (032) 412-6794 or email address rsso07@psa.gov.ph.
