Pursuant to the Memorandum Circular No. 01-2018 signed by Ernesto M. Pernia, National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) Secretary for Socioeconomic Planning, enjoining all Heads of Executive Departments, Agencies, Bureaus, Offices, State Universities and Colleges (SUCs), Government Owned and Controlled Corporations (GOCCs), Legislative and Judiciary Branches, Constitutional Bodies,Local Government Units (LGUs) and other Government Instrumentalities in celebrating the week-long 2018 Economic and Financial Literacy Week. The theme for this year’s celebration is “National Identification for Greater Economic snd Financial Inclusion: Sa Pag-angat ng Ekonomiya at Pinansya: Lahat Makakasali, Kapag May Pambansang ID”.

In consonance to the Memorandum Circular, PSA RSSO 7 conducted an information dissemination on the latest updates on the National ID system thru PhilSys and a lecture on Financial Literacy thru an advocacy video on 8 November 2018 at PSA RSSO 7. The activity aims to inform the participants on the latest updates of the National ID System and to know the basic financial literacy and to learn how to take care of money and to have an attitude of saving money in ensuring sound finances later in life.
