Registration for the Philippine Identification System (PhilSys) or National ID is ongoing in public and private schools throughout the province. PhilSys personnel are conducting surveys to determine the number of unregistered students and schedule their visit to various academic institutions.

As a valid proof of identity and age, the PhilID and ePhilID can be used for:

  • School enrollment

  • Applications to scholarship and student assistance programs

  • Opening junior bank account for savings

For parents who wish to register their kids or for students who want to register to PhilSys, present the original copy of any of the following documents:

  • PSA-issued Certificate of Live Birth/National Statistics Office (NSO)-issued Certificate of Live Birth with Birth Reference Number (BreN)

  • School ID or Certificate of Enrollment with front-facing photograph, full name, birth date, and permanent address

  • Local Civil Registry Office (LCRO)-issued Certificate of Live Birth

  • PSA-issued Report of Birth

The full list of accepted supporting documents can be found in the PhilSys official website (https://www.philsys.gov.ph/supporting-documents/).

If the student is a minor, the parent or guardian must sign a consent form allowing the child to register in case they cannot accompany them on the day of registration.

Interested applicants can also register in the PhilSys Fixed Registration Center (FRC) located at 2F Galleria Luisa Building, Gallares St., Tagbilaran City. The center is open from Monday to Saturday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
