Being the lead implementing agency for Republic Act No. 11055 or the Philippine Identification System (PhilSys) Act, the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) is mandated to establish a single identification system for all Filipino citizens.

As of 22 August 2023, a total of 1,123,354 Bol-anons are already registered to the National ID system. To ensure the system’s inclusivity, PSA returns to Provincial Capitol of Bohol to conduct institutional registration and issuance of printed ePhilIDs in public and private organizations on 29 August until 01 September 2023.

This strategy brings PhilSys services closer to the remaining unregistered Bol-anons and for those in need of valid IDs to get a copy of their ePhilIDs. The ePhilID is the permanent and electronic printed-on-paper version of the National ID, which has the same validity and functionality as the plastic card.

Inquiries may be coursed through the Philippine Statistics Authority - Bohol official Facebook pages (facebook.com/psabohol and facebook.com/PSAPhilSysBohol/), email (psa07.bohol.philsys@gmail.com), or telephone (038) 427-4361.
