The Philippine Statistics Authority Region VII celebrates the 33^rd Civil Registration Month. This is in pursuant to Proclamation No. 682 signed by former President Corazon C. Aquino on 28 January 1991 which declares the month of February of every year as Civil Registration Month (CRM). This year’s CRM theme: PSA @ 10: “Providing Efficient and Effective Civil Registration and Vital Statistics through Digital Transformation” is in line with PSA’s drive to implement strategies to improve the civil registration system in the country.

Furthermore, this month-long celebration aims to strengthen and intensify the commitment and advocacy of PSA to deliver effective and efficient civil registration services and vital quality statistics to the clients and stakeholders. This is also relevant to the mandate of PSA to enforce civil registration functions in the country.

PSA Region VII will be conducting various activities such as display of streamers, motorcade, mobile registration, refresher trainings, information, education, and communication materials, civil registration quiz bee, podcast sessions, TV and radio guesting among others.
