As the month of February of every year was celebrated as Civil Registration Month, various activities were lined to highlight the said celebration, and among those was the cascading of Training on Basic Civil Registration and Vital Statistics Concepts and Procedures (Training I) to PSA, Siquijor personnel and Local Civil Registry Offices personnel on 26 February 2019 at M’s Place Function Hall, Poblacion, Siquijor, Siquijor.

Facilitators for this training were Chief Statistical Specialist Canda, SuSS Valios and RO II Rizalyn Teodora G. Postrado.

The said activity was a Refresher Training and at the same time strengthened the linkages between the PSA and the MCRs.  Each LCRO was given time to share their experiences in the field of Civil Registration being the front liners.

Topics tackled and discussed were the first three modules of CRVS training as follows:

1.    Module 1- Basic Concepts and Procedures on Civil Registration

2.    Module 2- Laws Related to Civil Registration

3.    Module 3- Updates on CRG Issuances

A continuation of this training is planned on July 2019.
