The Philippine Statistics Authority recently launched the National ID Updating Service. With this service already available, registrants who need to update the demographic entries as well as those with erroneous information in their National ID can now apply for updating or correction.

In Negros Oriental, the National ID Updating Service is only available at the PhilSys Fixed Registration Center, Ground Floor, Lorenzo Building, National Highway, Brgy. Daro, Dumaguete City, beside the Banko Sentral ng Pilipinas. For those interested registrants, please visit the abovementioned address and bring documents, such as birth certificate, marriage certificate, barangay clearance, etc., to support your application for updating and correction of entries in your National ID. The National ID Updating Service is free of charge and available for all National ID registrants.

As the PSA continue the registration, production, and delivery of National IDs, several requests for updating and correction of entries were recorded. Hence, the PSA, being the primary implementing agency of this program, diligently look for solutions to address these complaints and requests of the registrants.
