Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) – Bohol announces the release of the Provincial Product Accounts (PPA) results for the Province of Bohol through a data dissemination forum on 29 November 2023 at 1:30 PM.

The discussants for this year’s forum are Mr. Mariolito M. Bonggot, EnP, Chief Economic Development Specialist under the Development Research Division of the National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) 7; and the Acting Head of the Social Development Sector, Mr. Roebert L. Varquez, of the Provincial Planning and Development Office (PPDO).

The PPA is a mechanism to compile the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) using a production approach at the subnational level. This forum aims to present a comprehensive picture of the provincial economy, which can be used by economic planners, policymakers, and other stakeholders in assessing the performance of local economies, policy formulation and monitoring, impact analyses, among others, for an evidence-based decision-making.

By 2025, the PSA envisions institutionalizing the PPA in all provinces and HUCs of the 17 regions in the country. Join us as we conduct this another statistical milestone of the PSA.
