The 33rd Civil Registration Month is a month-long celebration highlighted with various activities.  Coastal clean up at Barangay Paliton in the Municipality of San Juan was identified to be one of those early in the morning of 16 February 2023.  This is in collaboration with the Local Civil Registry Offices (LCROs) in this province.

Coastal Clean-up Activity is primarily engaging people around the world to remove trash and debris from beaches, waterways and other water bodies, to identify the sources of the litter, to change behavior that causes pollution and to raise awareness on the extent of the marine debris problem.  We all know how important it is to do our part of the active citizenry in maintaining our natural environments. The scourge of plastic all around our mother earth is only increasing, so the need for beach clean-ups is very important.

The activity forms part of the continuing thrust of the Office to get involved and active in promoting environmental awareness aside from delivering quality Civil Registration services. In some other way,  this promotes camaraderie among the personnel of PSA, Siquijor together with the Municipal Civil Registrars and Civil Registry Clerks.
