In the observance of the 33rd Civil Registration Month celebration, PSA Siquijor PSO had organized an Information and Education Campaign on Civil Registration and Visitation to Persons Deprived of Liberty at Siquijor District Jail in Caipilan, Siquijor, Siquijor on 17 February 2023.

The activity was primarily aimed at connecting to these group of people and at the same time introducing the products and services of the Philippine Statistics Authority, thus, bringing the information closer to them and making them feel their value and importance despite the situation. 

During the activity, a short lecture on Civil Registration was conducted and the rest of the allotted time were reserved for their Civil Registration concerns and queries.  A handful of concerns were raised like on how to deal with clerical errors in their birth records and on the erroneous entry on their sex.  Concerns on late registration of births were also noted and given proper recommendations.  After which, snacks prepared was handed to them.

To end the activity and convey their feelings of gratitude, they rendered a song number.
