The Philippine Statistics Authority Regional Statistical Services Office VII (PSA RSSO VII) and the PSA Cebu Provincial Statistical Office (PSA Cebu PSO) actively participated in the Cebu Provincial Government's Caravan of Services during the first quarter of 2025. This collaborative initiative, in partnership with various Local Government Units (LGUs) across Cebu, successfully brought essential services directly to local communities.

For the first quarter of 2025, PSA actively participated in all ten caravans held across Cebu province, bringing its services to more than 700 individuals. This initiative significantly reduced the need for residents, both in the host municipalities and neighboring areas, to travel long distances to access essential services.

A major highlight was the launch of the Civil Registry System (CRS) Mobile Outlet during the caravan at the San Remigio Sports Complex in San Remigio, Cebu. This innovative service facilitated the on-site processing and same-day issuance of civil registry documents, including Certificates of Live Birth, Marriage, and Death, as well as the Certificate of No Marriage (CENOMAR) or Advisory on Marriage.

During the Caravan of Service’s afternoon program in Barili, Cebu on 06 March 2025, PSA RSSO VII OIC-Regional Director Wilma A. Perante emphasized PSA’s dedication to public service, stating, "We are here to serve the people, it’s really our commitment. We have the service available for PSA, nandito po kami para hindi na kayo pumunta sa aming opisina to request for your civil registry documents.”

With the assistance of Department of Information and Communication Technology Region 7
(DICT-7) in providing internet connectivity, the CRS Mobile Outlet was successfully deployed in seven caravans, facilitating the issuance of 697 civil registry documents to 431 individuals.

Furthermore, PSA also offered the National ID System (NIDS) registration and other related services during these caravans. PSA deployed NIDS mobile registration teams to all ten caravans, registering 254 residents. Additionally, 47 individuals availed themselves of other NIDS services, such as the issuance of the National ID on Paper (ePhilID), retrieval of Transaction Reference Numbers (TRN), and authentication services.

PSA RSSO VII remains dedicated to improving the delivery of efficient civil registration services and inclusive identification system. By bringing these essential services directly to the local communities, PSA aims to enhance accessibility and convenience for all citizens, thereby reinforcing its commitment to facilitate citizen’s access to social services.
