In view of the foregoing partnership between the Department of Education (DepEd), Division of Siquijor, and the Philippine Statistics Authority, Siquijor Provincial Statistical Office (PSA-Siquijor PSO), the conduct of institutional registration and electronic Philippine Identification (ePhilID) issuance for the Philippine Identification System (PhilSys) is set to resume in March 2023 in public and elementary schools in the Province of Siquijor.

Strict implementation of minimum health and safety protocols is firmly observed in the conduct of institutional registration in schools. All PhilSys personnel strictly adhere to health and safety protocols set by the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) such as social distancing, administration of health survey forms, checking of applicants/personnel body temperature, wearing of personal protective equipment (PPE), disinfection of equipment, barriers, chairs, and common use supplies.
