The 32nd Civil Registration Month celebration in the province of Siquijor was formally opened with a thanksgiving mass offering. PSA, Siquijor Provincial Statistical Office headed by CSS Aurelia M. Canda in collaboration with the Local Civil Registry Offices jointly attended a 6:00AM mass at St. Augustine of Hippo Parish Church in San Juan, Siquijor for divine intervention of the said event. Also, a requiem mass was being offered to departed Provincial Statistics Officer, Municipal Civil Registrars and Civil Registry Clerks, who previously served for Civil Registration.
Part of this activity is a provincial caravan, making a stop-over in every municipality to witness the hanging of streamers in its designated areas and paid a visit in each of the Local Civil Registry Office. But before proceeding, a fellowship breakfast was shared by all. Meanwhile, a provincial conference was scheduled to discuss updates and concerns regarding the delivery of Civil Registration services in the province. A short program was designed for this particular undertaking. It has good number of attendees. The activity would somehow create a sense of camaraderie being one in delivering quality civil registration services, a good start for the 32nd Civil Registration Month celebration.
