1 February 2023, Siquijor, Siquijor - Civil Registration Month is here once again.  This is pursuant to Proclamation No. 682 issued by then President Corazon C. Aquino on January 28, 1991. The 33rd Civil Registration Month celebration in the province of Siquijor was formally opened with a motorcade around the surrounding area of the Municipality of Siquijor.  PSA, Siquijor Provincial Statistical Office headed by Officer-in-Charge, Joselito C. Maghanoy in collaboration with the Local Civil Registry Offices in the province jointly conducted the opening activity.  Meanwhile, a thanksgiving mass and at the same time requiem mass was being offered for the divine intervention and in honor of the departed Provincial Statistics Officer, Municipal Civil Registrars and Civil Registry Clerks, who previously served for Civil Registration.
